Hidden away this place does a couple of cask ales but it not really worth the bother.

Called in especially to try the Stonehouse Brewery Station Bitter and the Weetwood Cheshire Cat, which were spot on. A bit pricey, but it is a trendy boutique hotel. Staff friendly, seating outside and a BBQ area. Will pop in again for their ales.

The Commercial Hotel has reopened and has been completely refurbished. It has Hotel Rooms and a Restaurant as well as a trendy bar upstairs and downstairs. They have extended back into an old commercial shop unit on the square to make an eating area. Decor is excellent and modern. Entertainment is provided on some nights, DJ, Comedy Nights. They even have a BBQ in the square on race days.
