A roadside pub in a large, busy village. There are a few parking spaces at the front and a car park at the side. At the rear is an enclosed garden with a patio and a children’s play area. Inside, there is a large, long bar at the front and a smaller dining area at the side down a step which catches out unruly children. There is a salad bar in the side room as well. Though it was empty when we visited. Food looked good, standard pub grub at average prices for the area. They also offer B&B. Ales on were Tribute and Exmoor Ale, both in very good condition. It didn't feel the most welcoming of pubs, but maybe that’s because they were busy. Worth another look at a quieter time, I think.
