A few yards out of the immediate town centre, popped in here on the back of it being a recent - if now ex - GBG entry (presumably when run by Blindmans Brewery). Two rooms, both sets of walls done in darkish turquoise though not as bad as it initially sounds as the big windows let in plenty of light. Fairly modern in feel and has the whiff of a very recent refit, quite antiseptic. Friendly - if mildly clueless - service. Just one ale, a so-so Tribute (NBSS 2.5). WhatPub claims a cider but I didn’t see one. Cask drinkers aren’t the market in here at the moment so it’s a tick for ticking’s sake only. Mind you, what we had in here was no worse than Just Ales. Didn’t do much for me but my companion was more positive. 5.5
