A busy GK pub on the high street, a large former Victoria hotel. The single bar, formed from conjoined rooms, has a central servery. There are seats on all sides, mainly used by diners. There are gaming machines, dart boards and TV screens, all of which sets the tone of a normal seaside pub with clear overtones of the 1970s. The staff were helpful, the prices reasonable, the clientele mainly over 50s. Two ales on draft, GK IPA and Abbott, plus a standard range of megas. A decent enough town pub for a quick drink and a cheap lunch.

Delboy 20 left this review about The Railway
Greene King pub just off the front. Part of the Meet & Eat chain with an emphasis on food. Open at 9 for breakfast. 3 beers on - IPA, Abbott and Butcombe Original. I went for the latter which was fine.
Decent pub, glad i called in.

Played skittles here recently, sparce brightly lit pub 2 real ales. But is a popular live music venue.
