A traditional large back street local which sadly has no real ale. There is a smoking terrace, partially covered, at the front but nothing else by way of garden. Inside, there is a single large L-shaped bar formed from knocking through the original bars. The décor is functional, very 1970s, and no frills. There is pool, three dartboards, TV screens which were turned off and a jukebox. The only hot food available was toasties, but they weren’t expensive and made a nice change. It’s a decent enough local but the lack of ale puts me off coming back
