A large, busy town pub on the edge of the main shopping and nightlife area, originally The Blue Boar. The single large bar is part-carpeted and has a pool table, dartboard, gaming machines and a juke box. It’s not a very welcoming place, and most of the clientele seemed to be Eastern Europeans, though the landlady did at least raise a sort-of smile when we eventually caught her attention. There is no real ale and nothing else that looked remotely drinkable. This little piggy won’t be back.
