The Three Crowns Inn is a sports orientated Marston’s pub that is a bit of a schlep from Telford Town centre. Steps from the car park lead up to a front patio area and the entrance which leads to a staple shaped interior. Through the entrance seating runs up the right-hand wall overlooked by a television that was airing horse racing at Cheltenham during a recent Tuesday late afternoon visit. The bar counter runs along the front of the pub facing banquettes and tables that run along the rear wall. More televisions with horse racing, and muted female cricket via Sky Sports, are found in here and to the left where there’s a pool table and dartboard. Standard keg was available and the three hand pumps were unused. There was a decent local crowd in, most of whom were chatting with the barmaid in the bar area. I thought this place was a decent local, but not worth the walk from Telford.
