Surprisingly busy on a Tuesday night for an apparently long closed pub (copyright Telford & East Shropshire CAMRA) , yes they have built apartments/hotel on part of the car park , but the car park is still huge as is the beer garden , and most importantly the Pub is still going strong .
You enter through a covered outdoor seating/smoking area , now only a single room the bar is to the far end with a couple of seated areas to the right stretching into what was once the old bar room , to the left is a raised alcove , a pool table and central raised drink rest are central .
3 Handpulls , only 1 on with a decent Salopian Lemon Dream served by the friendly barman .
It will not win any awards but is a decent locals boozer .

This place has had a bit of a make-over , it is much lighter and feels a lot cleaner than before , still loads of TVs around and live music at weekends .
Better news as well the handpulls have been re-instated with Hobgoblin and a decent(when it warmed up) Woods Shropshire Lass .
A decent improvement.

2 room pub recently refurbished , no cask ale on but beer wetherspoons prices , large bar with 2 pool tables and darts , large lounge with small raised area used for bands/entertainment and area partioned off for diners/quite drinkers .Plenty of TV screens around showing sport . It can get very busy in here at weekends and a bit rowdy at times , i prefer it earlier on or in the week
