If you can, avoid. No real ale and expensive. That said it is a nice hotel bar lounge but pricey.

The George Hotel is a large hotel with a public bar.
Once inside this place looked quite posh,the public bar was to the left,this was a decent sized room with the bar to the right on entry,the seating was mainly posh looking chesterfield settees.
There was some music playing quietly and i was the only customer in at around 4.30 in the afternoon.
There were no real ales on the bar and the only keg bitter was Worthington cream crap which it was and this was £4.00 a pint,no wonder this place was empty.
Done it once, never again.
