Have been using this pub for many years - always found the atmosphere good and the food fantastic value - until our last 2 visits- unfortunately the food quality has dropped quite dramatically as well as the atmosphere- last occasion full of drunken people with an alternative dialect and the food very poor- the service was good -but a shame for the downfall- try elsewhere - like the Brownlow, Black Swann, Bleeding Wolf or the Legs of Man for food
