Last orders is L-shaped with banquettes that run up the right-hand wall to a dartboard that is separated from the bar area to the left by some thick pillars and a flight of stairs up to private quarters. In the bar area the centrally placed serving counter faces standing room to the right and banquettes that run across the front wall. On the left-hand wall is a stage where a random number generator sat on a table for the bingo that was taking place. On the wall behind the stage is a projector screen that compliments the televisions throughout that were airing muted Sky Sports football and horse racing. Thankfully my visit coincided with a break in the number calling, so I got to see a busy pub full of joyous locals who were generating a great atmosphere. When the number calling started again the pub fell silent, so I decided to slosh back my half of lager before leaving. I liked it in here, but with only standard and premium keg being available I wouldn’t go out of my way to revisit.

The Last Orders is about halfway up anchor road.
Once inside the pub had a single room,there was a carpeted area to the right with the left side being bare boarded,the seating was bench type with small tables and stools.
There were no real ales on the bar and the keg option was John Smiths smooth crap which was a very poor drink.
The pub was very busy with a mixed bunch on my late afternoon visit.
This s not a bad pub but the lack of real ales lets it down badly.
