The Nelson Inn is a bare brick built pub that is situated at the bottom end of brown lees road.
Once inside there was a oblong shaped bar to the front left,this room had comfy bench seating facing the bar,there was a TV to the left showing football,there is a small snug to the front right which was carpeted and had bench seating,there is also a seperate room to the rear right which had a pool table in the middle of it.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Cross Bay Nighfall which was a well kept and very nice drink,the other beer was Bass.
I had a good chat with the friendly landlord.
This is qiute a nice proper pub with decent real ale on the bar.
