Country pub on the Cheshire/Greater Manchester pub that is on the flight path to Manchester Airport. Being a JW Lee's pub, the selection was limited to their Bitter & a seasonal beer - American Classic Kentucky Common Ale. Looking for something different, I opted for the latter and regretted it.
The pub itself has a bar area, with an area devoted to diners beyond that. Although, it appeared that you could eat pretty much anywhere throughout the pub. Service was good, but the pub lacked character and was not somewhere I'd rush back to.

A welcoming clearly rather old pub which has been at some time extended to the side. The garden is huge and very well appointed, inside there is a low beamed ceiling, fireplaces with evidence of use in the colder months plus various bits of interest on the walls and on shelves. Rather geared towards eating, which was fine, we were in for food but drinkers are welcomed equally as are dogs with treats and water bowls available. JW Lees beers, Bitter, MBA plus another I failed to note but I think it was a seasonal brew. Handy for Tatton Park.
