As usual for this chain, there are many fine old features internally and impressive stained glass windows. It looks very traditional from the outside and as Strongers commented in the previous review, it certainly does look inviting.
The pub is pretty much split into two halves, with the bar serving in the rear room, which is also where most of the patrons were gathered. At this side of the bar were three hand pulls in use, with a further one unclipped. The other (unused) side of the bar had two pulls with one unclipped, with those two being duplicated from the other side. I had a half of Citra Blonde at £1.95, which was pleasant.
It seems to do food as there were condiments on the larger tables, though I did not see anyone eating at the time of my visit.
Worth a visit.

Strongers . left this review about The Glebe
The Glebe is an aged Joule’s pub with leaded stained glass windows which make it look very inviting. In the left bar is a serving counter that abuts a cheese counter, blimey these guys love their cheese. Joule’s Slumbering Monk and Blonde were both available on hand pump and there was a standard and premium keg range. In the larger right-hand side of the pub a violin guitar band were playing deep south tunes, they were very good. They had certainly drawn a crowd, some of whom were very uptight and cliquey. This was the last pub on a recent crawl and I think it warrants a revisit, maybe a few pints earlier in the day.

Just a quick pint, then I'm off left this review about The Glebe
Corner pub with a very impressive interior, nicely restored by Joule's to highlight the heritage features such as the stained-glass windows and wood-panelling on some walls. Slightly opened out, but the two bars remain (almost) separate. Just Pale Ale, Pure Blonde and Slumbering Monk available from the handpumps on each counter, but this is a fine place to stop while waiting for a train from the nearby main station.
