Left and right-hand doors at the entrance of the Marstons run Corner Pin respectively open into the games room and lounge, although this isn’t really the case because the two rooms have been knocked through into one that is now served by a rear facing counter along the front wall. The right-hand side is carpeted with banquette seating across the front and up the front of the right-hand wall. In the left hand-side is a pool table and there’s more banquette seating, this time across the rear and down the rear left wall. There was some dance background music playing, but the older locals seemed more interested in watching muted TNT Sport Premier League football build-up. I thought the service was polite and Pedigree was available alongside a standard and premium keg range. This is a friendly pub, but I’m not sure that I’ll ever find myself out this way again to revisit.

The Corner Pin is situated well away from the middle of Longton at the top end of anchor road.
Once inside the bar was behind the entrance, there was a single room that was divided into bar and lounge type areas, the left side had comfortable bench seating and a pool table and darts board, the right side was carpeted with comfy bench seating and small stools.
The pub is a Marstons tied house and there were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Pedigree which was a very nice drink.
This was a really nice pub to sit and have a drink in and it was also very warm on a cold day.
This pub was worth the walk.
