The Bulls Head is on a large plot with the pub to the left, a hotel to the right and a large car park across the front of them both. If parking for longer than 20 minutes your car registration must be entered at the bar to avoid a fine. At the rear of the pub is a large well-kept patio and beyond are rows of picnic tables on a larger grass covered area. The black and white tiled front entrance leads into the pub that has wooden flooring throughout. Open plan seating runs up the right-hand side of the pub, and across the front wall to the left of the entrance are high tables that continue to a dartboard on the left-hand wall. The serving counter sits midway up the left-hand wall where it faces a couple of high tables that sit against a mirrored wall to the right. Booths run across the rear where they back onto a raised rear extension where all the tables were set for dining. Access from here can be gained to the rear beer garden. Standard and premium keg options were available from the bar that also supports Neck Oil and four hand pumps that were drawing Unicorn and Dizzy Blonde. The service was polite and I found it to be comfortable, but the slow background music from the 60s was a bit depressing. That said, I like a drop of DB, so I’ll be sure to pop back in if I find myself in these parts again.

Well furnished and impressive pub but sadly now the only one in the village. The bar is to the left on entry with seating all around and also an area up a few steps to the right of the bar that i think is used more for dining. there is a very smart covered area at the rear and beyond this a massive grassed area with lots of tables. This is a Robinson's pub and had all the 6 cask beers functioning. Worth a visit.
