This was once my favourite pub in Shrewsbury , the main entrance on the Square led into a narrow wood panelled bar which opened out into a larger wood panelled lounge , a door took you through to a small backroom with its own servery . The back door led down a steep flight of steps to an alley which exits to this day by the entrance to the Hole in the Wall .
