Much modernized pub , it is open plan in an L shape , the bar area is straight ahead as you enter , the long side area is given over to dining during the day and live music at weekends .
4 real ales on , Cockerhoop , Banks Amber , Hobgoblin and Youngs Original which was a well kept if very dull pint .

Refurbished. A small bar area at the entrance gives way to a long area at the rear which seems to be very much aimed at foodies. 5 real ales on offer.

First time in this pub for over 3 years and it doesn't seem to have changed much. Only 2 beers available though and my Bank's Bitter was just OK. The place was full of pushchairs and shrieking kids. It also smelt strongly of fried food. Not a very good experience on this visit.

Nicely appointed pub both inside and out just off the main pedestrianised area. It's actually one big L shaped room but has two distinct areas with the back part of the pub leaning more towards dining. It's badged as a Marston's pub but didn't actually have any Marston's cask ale on although they are all from the extended stable. Four handpumps selling Ringwood Fortyniner and Bold Forester along with Brakspear Oxford Gold and Banks's Bitter. Had a pint of the Bold Forester which was very good. Has live music on regularly as well. It's a good pub, well worth a visit.
