Oggwyn Great left this review about Brooklands Hotel
Large pub handy for Shrewsbury Towns new ground (£5 parking charge on matchdays), its a large two room pub , the bar is to the left and is pretty big , the lounge is smaller and more geared to dining(food looked good , i did not eat)children are welcome in the lounge , its all fairly clean and tidy in here , the service is efficient rather than friendly , the usual tap stuff plus two real ales , London Pride and Speckled Hen which were OK (Why no local beers ? there used to be) There is a large beer garden , very busy on the sunny day of my visit (Shrewsbury and Accrington fans mixing happily).
Its OK in here when visiting the New Meadow but not worth a special trip
