a cosy and friendly village local selling four Offa's Dyke beers from the small brewery next door. The original Offa's Dyke passed through the car park at the front putting the pub just on the Welsh side, though the path diversion now passes behind the pub and the Welsh border is now three miles away! The small lounge has bare floorboards and a brick built fireplace. The larger vault was occupied by younger drinkers on my visit with pool and darts being the attractions.
