This hotel is open, and the bar had 3 real ales on. All standard beers Speckled Hen, Doom Bar and London Pride. We chose Speckled Hen and Doom Bar. The Speckled Hen was ok but the Doom Bar was cloudy despite over a pint being pulled off before getting served. We left some of the Doom Bar and were chatting with a local and the friendly chap who came in behind the bar, and he was concerned that the Doom Bar wasn't right and gave us a half of the London Pride. That was better than the Doom Bar, but not in tip top condition either.

The White Lion is a large pub that is also an hotel that is close to the town centre and opposite the river Nene.
Once inside i went in the room at the front of the pub this was quite smart and comfortable.
There were two real ales on here and i had a drink of Greene King Abbot ale this was ok but not really to my taste the other beer was Ruddles bitter.
