Large pub at the top of the town, that was once a Hotel. The interior was traditional and had a good sized dining area, a lounge and bar served by a central bar. On approach to the pub we noticed an A board near the entrance displaying a list of six cask ales, excitingly for me they had a Salopian Kashmir on the list. Unfortunately on arrival at the bar, I was told it had just gone. So the remaining choice was Exmoor Gold, Bass, TT Boltmaker, Rat White Rat and Three Tuns XXX. The White Rat can be served through a Randall pump to alter the flavour of the beer, which did give the beer a pronounced flavour, or from a regular hand pump.
