This lovely, traditional country pub evidently doesn't need to advertise its existence, as I cycled through Seisdon and Claverley totally dependent on my navigational tools. Even arriving in Upper Farmcote I had to stop and check the way. I would guess there are quite a few regulars coming out from nearby Bridgnorth on a Bank Holiday Monday. Most of the drinks I saw being poured were keg lager and cider or Guinness. I had the choice of the same five named in the previous review (see photo - the Butty Bach was on a different section of the bar counter). Service was friendly and efficient, though I had to ask for my pint of Three Tuns with a three centimeter head to be topped up. There were about 20 customers, including those sitting in the bit of the garden I could see, but I had the small room to the right and rear of the bar, with quarry tiled floor and black kitchen range, entirely to myself. My only criticism would be that all the beers were a little strong for a thirsty cyclist, with nothing below 4%, but it's a very minor gripe. After all, I could have just had a half.

I've probably visited this pub previously in the dim and distant past, but I don't remember it. Late on a Sunday evening, it was fairly quiet with just a few local farmers in discussing their sheep and what they could buy if they sold them.
You enter into a traditional bar area with a tiled floor with an open fire and a grandfather clock. Off to the left is a lounge with a carpeted dining room and conservatory at the far end up a couple of steps.
The barmaid was quite cheerful and had 4 cask ales to offer. Regular beers are Hobson's Town Crier & Wye Valley HPA. In addition, she also had Wye Valley Butty Bach & Three Tuns XXX. An Enville Ale clip was turned round. Ciders were Thatcher's Haze, Weston's Stowford Press & The Special Cider Company Cider House Special, presumably from the Cider House a few miles away. We ordered a couple of cobs to soak up our drinks, whilst a sign on the bar suggested that samosas were also available.
Probably my second favourite pub of the day in Shropshire. It can be found in the Good Beer Guide and was a good place for us to finish our crawl.

A former 18th century farmhouse in un-rendered brick. The interior has three rooms. We entered into a small bar area in white and wood panel with a dominating grandfather clock. To the left was a larger dining area with fireplace feature, while there is a snug at the back, also in white and wood, which was dominated by a kitchen range (and had a dart board). Bench seating is prevalent, as are old photos and such. No TV or music. Service was good and the clientele locals. Three Ales: Wye Valley HPA, Enville Ale and a very good Three Tuns XXX. An excellent experience for an uncaring miserable man like me.
