The Elm Tree is a standard looking pub that is situated just off the town centre.
Once inside there is a corridor and room off it that are interconnected,we had a drink in a a small square shaped room to the front,the room is carpeted and has a beamed ceiling,the seating normal tables and chairs,there is a larger area through an open doorway to the rear which is bare boarded,the seating in this area in mainly tall tables and chairs,thee is a pool table to the rear.
There were four real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Belhaven Golden Bay which was a nice drink,the other beers were Courage Best,Doom Bar and London Pride.
There was a TV showing the Southampton v Villa game,the pub was fairly busy with drinkers on our Saturday afternoon visit.
