Alan Winfield left this review about Eagle Vaults
The Eagle Vaults is a largish pub that my brother mistook for a Spoons pub from its outside appearance.
Once inside there is an irregular shaped room that has different drinking areas on different levels, the bar faces on entry and we soon found out that this is not a Spoons as there was only one real on the bar which was Doom Bar,this was a pretty ordinary drink.
The seating is a mix of tall tables and chairs and normal ones, the TV was showing sky sports, very cheap food is available.
We found this pub to be a bit of a dissapointment.

Old Boots left this review about Eagle Vaults
An internally odd shaped Marstons pub with many discrete areas in a general open plan design in spite of an old and conventional frontage. Décor varies according to area, one end is panelled and is labelled “The Pottery” , no pots just photos of old Witney. Lots of wood in various shades make up the structure and décor. There is a dining conservatory and a large patio at the back. Food is served as the aromas will confirm. The large wooden counter follows a sinuous course round the odd shape and is home to five handpumps including a bank of three with odd tall swan necks. All beers from the Marstons group, my EPA was fine but nowt special. Not a pub to be confused with Hook Norton's much better Eagle Tavern round the corner. The pub does breakfasts from 8am I guess to compete with the nearby Spoons.
