The Carpenters Arms is just along the roan from The Griffin.
Once inside the main room is square shaped with the bar on the right side,part of the walls are bare stone which looked quite nice,the room is carpeted apart from the front area which is bare boarded,the seating is high backed leather chairs,there was a TV on showing Southampton thrash Aston Villa.
There is a separate pool room to the front right.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Frog Island Lock,Stock and Barrel,this went down very well,the other beer was Ringwood Best.
This is a very pleasant pub just a shame we were the only customers in on a Saturday afternoon.
