A good-looking pub from the outside and inside, I think I caught this at the wrong time as it was quiet and of the four pumps, just one was available dispensing Hook Norton Hooky. A slightly L-shaped, rectangular room, this has a preponderance of wood, including a blocked floor, with a curious wood / glass divide which sits to the left, opposite the bar. A stone fireplace has a flat screen TV hanging above against the right-hand wall, and despite furniture, there's a dartboard with chalk and electronic scoreboards either side. The area to the right seems to be more dining-geared, although there was no sign of that on my visit. There's a nice garden out back, and they host decent music events throughout the year. A low score on this showing, but not one to write off if you're in and around the area.
