Located just off the cusp of Wheatley centre, this is another pub that's had a makeover of late, yet retains a low-ceilinged room with what appear to be original beams a bit of exposed stone, low lighting and some settle-style seating. The remainder of the area is narrow and rectangular with a smallish dining area to the left of the bar decorated in a neo-Georgian style and the rest of the pub is a hodge-podge of Farrow & Ball colours. Just GK IPA and Doom Bar available (with London Pride reversed). The DB was £3.90 for a pint and was as good as that beer can be expected to be these days. Friendly bar staff and amiable customers, but hardly a great place to visit.
