This country pub, now the only one left in the village, is broken up into to two rooms a main bar area, and a separate dining room located behind the bar and accessed via a corridor. The bar area is a decent size, over two levels, and offered a humdrum selection of Black Sheep Bitter or Brakspear Bitter, the latter of which my drinking companion was in enjoyment of. There's an Aunt Sally pitch out back, so at least the flag is being flown for that old institution here.
