As below - not a soul in site either behind the reception you enter into or behind the bar located via an open doorway to the left. No real ale, although Worthington's Creamflow was spotted which is scarcely replacement. The sign proclaims "Hotel Bar Restaurant" so maybe it needs to make up its mind which of the three areas to focus on as all three seemed pretty badly represented on this visit.

Tried to pop in here but a prominent "residents only" sign by the empty bar made me think that casual drinkers are not welcome despite the hanging signage. No staff anywhere so headed off.
