This is a lovely friendly pub and was the only "real" pub we called in yesterday. The corner bar in the main room didn't have any real ales on, but there were a couple of casks set up behind the bar and we saw they had the Elgoods Lizard of Oz so we had a good half of that. There was another room that didn't look open. The one being used was comfy enough with a real fire. Would call back in this one next time we come here.

The Angel Hotel is in the middle of Wisbech and is just off the main shopping street.
This pub is an Elgoods tied house and once inside i went in a decent room that was fairly comfortable there may have been other rooms but i did'nt look.
There were two real ales on the bar and i had a drink of Elgoods Cambridge bitter and this was a very nice dink the other beer was Elgoods Golden Newt.
I thought this was a fairly decent pub and it opened at 11.00.
