The Midget is about to be renamed The Roaring Raindrop after a complaint. It was named after the world famous MG Midget car which was built in the town. Another case of political correctness gone mad!

Another GK estate pub to the south-east of the town centre. Like the Boundary House, this is L-shaped and provides a games area to the right and beyond the bar with dartboard, pool table and pull-down large screen showing sport (not that you can avoid screens in here - they are everywhere and not on mute either). Standard meal deals and carpeted decor. Two ales from four pumps (two reversed) which were Morland Original and Abingdon Bridge Gunners Gold - the latter a locAle, decent and great value at £1.60 for a half. Serves a purpose for its location and gets an additional mark for a local brew.
