The most centrally located pub in Southwell and also the busiest at it attracts the lions share the the younger crown as it is a tad more modern and lively than the others and has live music at weekend which makes it the most in demand place to go in the village. A central bar divides the two main drinking areas. Several of their beers are permanets such as Doombar, landload, Abbot and blue monkeys BG Sips as well as two guest ales. the landlord was in good nick at £3.50 which was about expected for the area with some of the keg lines being very expensive (Carling was £3.90) I quite liked this places because although more modern it had a lot more a a lively entertaining atmosphere than some of the other pubs in the village which is sometimes desirable after a few beer when you want something bit less tame. Another good pub in Southwell selling good quality cask ale.

A large pub also next to the market square with a central bar, which was very busy on our visit. The pub is traditional in style with beams etc. but seems to mostly attract a younger crowd watching the footy. There was two ales on offer, Sharps Doom Bar and TT Landlord.

The Admiral Rodney is situated on Southwells main shopping street.
When i first visited this pub it was a Whitbread tied house and there was a decent drink of Castle Eden on the bar.
On our later visit here the pub looked a bit too trendy inside so we did'nt bother having a drink here.
