The King & Miller is a Sizzling pub that was very busy during a recent Thursday afternoon visit, mostly with older clientele who had filled the restaurant area in the right-hand side of the pub, to the point where the pub was taking no more walk-ins. An L-shaped serving counter sits centrally on the rear wall, unfortunately there’s no cask with only premium and standard keg products being available. I was driving through so just had a Pepsi that was served by a friendly member of staff. The bar seating runs up the left-hand side of the pub where high tables run from the front to a pool table and two dartboards at the rear. Sky Sports golf was muted on a couple of large screens while some low background music played. These sizzling pubs are always busy when I visit during dining hours, Greene King certainly know their market.
