The Blacksmiths is one of two pubs Clayworth.
The front door is out of use but the side entrance is close to the road.
Once inside there is a large room with the bar on the mid right,there is a stone floor and a mix of seating types including normal tables and chairs,settees and puff chairs,it all looks very upmarket and too smart for my liking,the rear area is up two steps,this area was carpeted,there is dining room upstairs and the front right area was set aside for diners.
There were two real ales on the bar,i had a drink of Taylor Dark Mild,which went down well,the other beer was Taylor Landlord.
There was quiet background music playing.
The pub was very busy on our Saturday afternoon visit with both drinkers and diners.
All a bit too upmarket.
