The Windmill is just down the street from the Peacock.
This pub has got a more modern feel to it but it is still a decent pub to have a drink in,i had a drink of Shepherd Neame Spitfire and this was very nice the other real ale was Adnams Bitter.

Fine selection of European lagers, hand drawn bitters and wine. The food is good and cheap at £10 for three courses on weekdays. Nice inside, stone flags in the bar and original beams, comfy leather settee's. Very polite staff.
