Alan Winfield left this review about The Warren Arms
The Warren Arms was one of Staplefords oldest pubs with it being built before most of the shops around it.
Over the years the pub got knocked about quite a lot and by the time i made my first visit here the pub was one large room which had different drinking areas.
This pub was an Ind Coope tied house and it sold real ale for quite a few years with Ind Coope bitter and Burton bitter being regulars.
The pub was always popular with younger drinkers because it had a decent sized dance floor.
In later years the pub gradually went downhill and on one of our last visits here the pub was in a right state with customers to match.
The pub finally closed down in 2007 and lay derelict for quite a while,it has now been pulled down and there are now shops and flats on its site.
This is a shame has we had some good times in this pub over the years.
