The Star Inn used to be an Home Ales tied house.
Once inside the pub had two rooms with a decent but basic bar and a nice comfortable lounge,there were two real ales on the bar with both Home bitter and mild being very nice drinks here.
This used to be a nice proper pub and it is a shame that it has now closed down.
