I thought this place was a nightclub as I approached it and was pleasantly surprised by the interior. Old Speckled Hen on draft also surprised me. Not a pub I would come back to, but OK for a drink.

The Solstice is a large modern pub that opened its doors in the late 90s.
Once inside there was one largish room that i noticed and the pub was a Whitbread house, there were two real ales on here i had a drink of Whitbread Flowers and this was a decent enough drink the other beer was Boddingtons bitter.
This was'nt really my sort of pub.
