Alan Winfield left this review about Saracens Head
The Saracens Head was a smallish pub that was just up from the Sir Charles Napier.
Once inside the pub there was a decent sized room with the bar facing and there was one more room off it to the left, the pub was fairly basic but a decent enough pub to have a few drinks in.
The pub was a Kimberley tied house and there was one real ale which was Kimberley bitter and this was a fairly decent drink.
We last went in here about 9 years ago and there was a pretty rough crowd in.
It is a shame that this pub has closed down.
