The Black cherry lounge Is one of the main room inside the Rock City nightclub/Music Venue. Whenever I have been it has been on a club night where along with he main room and the other downstairs room has been opened up to make one large venue were people can wonder in and out as they please. On other nights however it is closed off and becomes its own venue with its own outside entrance. It is one large square room with a bar at the back and a large dance floor in the centre with a few tables and chairs on the lest as you enter (there may be more on non club nights but these get taken away to make more dance space). On club nights this is usually very busy with young women dancing. The bar is the same setup and price as you get in the rest of rock city with he same keg lager line up of Carlsberg, san Miguel. I had a bottle of Newcastle brown which was £4 but I guess your goanna pay that I n a nightclub. I think they do sell a few bottled ales and cans of Guinness in the fridges. I pop in here before heading up to the main dance floor as its a bit calmer and you can get served a little quicker. I would never go here when not a club night but is ok when in the nightclub. as far as these places go this along with rock city is a cut above any nightclub I have ever ben in (and this is coming from someone who hates nightclubs). Try it out if ever in the club.
