The Old General is at the north end of hyson green.
This pub had a few different rooms and whenever i went in here i always had a drink in the bar which was fairly basic.
This pub used to be a Home Ales tied house and there were two real ales on the bar the Home bitter and mild were decent drinks.This was one of my least visited pubs in hyson green
I have heard recently that this pub has closed down but i am not sure about this.
