Alan Winfield left this review about Norfolk Hotel
The Norfolk Hotel was a large corner pub that survived the meadows slum clearences in the late 70s.
This pub was an Home Ales tied house and had a couple of rooms inside we usually went in the bar which was basic but functional, there were two real ales on the bar with both Home Ales bitter and mild being very nice drinks.
The pub was always busy on match days and was popular with both Forest and County supporters.
The pub struggled on with the threat of demolition hanging over it untill this finally happened around 2007.
Yet another Nottingham pub pulled down for new developments.
