According to WhatPub, the Man of Iron opens at 11:15, but when we turned up at 11:25 it was clearly not open, and as a bus to Bramcote was due any second we didn't have time to check it out.

This was a Kimberley tied house and is now run by Greene King.
This pub has been altered and knocked into on room with a pool table at the back and a carpeted lounge type area at the front,there was only one real on which was Old Speckled Hen and this was a decent drink the pub is fairly comfortable and i was quite happy having a drink here.
