The Jolly Higglers was a 70s built estate pub but was on the busy ilkeston road.
This pub was set well back from the road as there was a large car park in front of it.
Once inside there were two largish rooms with a functional bar and a comfortable lounge,this pub was a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on the bar and both Shipstones bitter and mild were decent drinks in here.
This pub is still standing but closed down a few years ago it is now a tesco express.
