The Bendigo was named after a famous Nottingham boxer and it has as a statue of him above the main entrance.This pub was an Home Ales tied house.
This pub has always had a rough reputation and it was renamed the Hermitage a few years ago this is after the area of sneinton that the pub is in.
Once inside this pub there was a large basic bar there may have been a lounge but i never went to look,the pub has'nt sold any real ale for years and it is now closed and tinned up awaiting its fate.
