Alan Winfield left this review about The Alma Inn
The Alma is situated towards the bottom end of alfreton road.
We used to go in this pub quite a bit and it was usually our last port of call before going to Goose Fair.
Once inside there were three rooms, there was a smartish lounge to the left a small drinking area near the front door and a basic bar to the right.
This pub used to be a Shipstones tied house and there were two real ales on here both the Shipstone bitter and mild were very nice drinks here,we have had some very good times here.
The pub is still standing and they have now pulled the tin off the windows but the pub is still closed.
