The Square and Compass is a decent looking pub.
Once inside the main bar is L shaped with the bar facing,there is a nice low beamed ceiling,the seating was wood backed bench type to the right,there is a small square shaped dining room to the left and unusually a seperate pool room to the far left meaning you have to walk through the dining room to get to the pool room.
There was only one real ale on the bar which was Doom Bar,this was a decent enough drink.
This is quite a nice pub inside,just a shame there was'nt a better choice of real ales on the bar.
