Strongers . left this review about Old Kings Arms
The Old Kings Arms has central flagstone flooring with a parquet flooring area with old fireplace to the right and floorboards with seating to the left. The bar counter runs up the right rear where it faces some high tables. Steps at the rear lead up to a pool and dart area. Standard keg was available alongside Birra Moretti and one of the two hand pumps was in operation drawing Pedigree. This is a bog standard high street boozer geared towards the weekend crowds, quite forgettable.

Worst pub I went in owing to the lack of real ale and brain dead clientele. Not one to revisit.

The Old Kings Arms is situated on one of Newarks main shopping streets.
This was a Free House when i first did it.
Once inside there is a smallish square shaped room with the bar on the right side, the room is carpeted, the seating is normal tables and chairs, there is a pool table which is up some steps to the rear.
There was one real ale on the bar which was Pedigree, this was a decent enough drink.
The TV was showing football score updates.
The pub was packed on our late Saturday afternoon visit with a good mix of drinkers.
Ok for a quick drink.
