The New Inn was a John Smiths tied house that was bare brick built and a short walk from the town centre.
Once inside the pub had a couple of rooms which were fairly basic but in a nice way,there were no real ales on on my first visit with only keg John Smiths bitter.
It is a shame that this pub has now closed down.
